01
Scope and responsibility
Turing Ultra Pty Ltd, ACN 699 754 044, is responsible for deciding how and why personal information submitted to us for website and business enquiry purposes is used. This policy applies to this website and to related enquiries sent to Turing Ultra.
OpenAI provides the ChatGPT Sites hosting service and may process website visitor data as needed to host, secure, debug and operate the site. OpenAI may also process information for its own purposes where it acts as a separate controller. Its handling is governed by the terms and privacy materials applicable to its service.
Customer deployments, employment processes, supplier engagements and other services may have additional privacy terms or collection notices. Those documents prevail for the specific activity they cover.
02
Information we may collect
- Enquiry information: your name, work email address, organisation, role, contact details, message, attachments and any other information you choose to include when you email us.
- Business relationship information: meeting notes, correspondence, stated requirements, procurement information and records of decisions or follow-up where a discussion continues.
- Technical and usage information: internet protocol address, device and browser information, requested pages, dates and times, diagnostic events, security signals and server logs that may be processed by the hosting service to deliver and protect the site.
- Compliance and rights information: records needed to manage a privacy request, complaint, legal obligation, security report or dispute.
We do not ask visitors to provide sensitive information through this website. Do not send payment-card data, health information, government identifiers, passwords, private keys or confidential customer data by ordinary email. Contact us first if secure transfer arrangements are needed.
03
How information is collected
We collect information directly when you email us, communicate with our personnel, attend a meeting or ask us to respond to a request. We may also receive professional contact information from a colleague, adviser, public business source or event organiser where it is reasonable and lawful to do so.
Technical information may be collected automatically by the hosting service and network infrastructure when your browser requests a page. Clicking an email link opens your chosen email application; your email provider processes that activity under its own terms.
04
Why we use information
- to respond to enquiries and arrange requested discussions;
- to assess product fit, implementation boundaries and potential business relationships;
- to prepare proposals, conduct due diligence and take steps requested before entering a contract;
- to operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website and our business systems;
- to maintain business records, manage risks and establish, exercise or defend legal rights;
- to comply with applicable law, regulatory requests and lawful process; and
- to send business marketing only where we have consent or another lawful basis, with an effective way to opt out.
Where EU or UK data-protection law applies, our bases may include taking steps at your request before a contract, our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and securing our operations, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where required. We do not use website visitor data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
05
Who may receive information
We may disclose relevant information:
- to OpenAI and infrastructure providers that host, secure and operate the site;
- to email, productivity, data-storage and professional service providers that support our business;
- to personnel, contractors and advisers who need it for the purposes described in this policy and are subject to appropriate duties;
- to a prospective investor, buyer, financier or transaction adviser under suitable confidentiality arrangements where a corporate transaction is being considered;
- where required or authorised by law, lawful process or a regulator; or
- with your consent or at your direction.
We do not sell website enquiry information or disclose it for third-party behavioural advertising.
06
Overseas processing
Our hosting, email and other service providers may process information outside Australia. ChatGPT Sites does not provide data or inference residency at launch, and the countries used by the service may change according to the provider arrangements applicable to our account. Country-level locations are therefore not fixed or practicable for us to specify accurately in this policy.
Where Australian Privacy Principle 8 or another cross-border rule applies, we take reasonable steps appropriate to the circumstances, including reviewing provider terms and using contractual or other safeguards where available. You may contact us for current information relevant to a particular proposed disclosure.
07
Direct marketing
We may send relevant business communications where you have consented or where the communication is otherwise permitted by law. Australian commercial electronic messages will identify the sender and provide a functional way to unsubscribe. We will action an Australian unsubscribe request within the period required by the Spam Act 2003. You can also opt out at any time by emailing us.
08
Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, a continuing business relationship, record-keeping, security, dispute management or a legal requirement. Retention depends on the nature of the information, the status of the enquiry and applicable limitation or regulatory periods. Information that is no longer required is deleted or de-identified where reasonably practicable, subject to secure backups and legal holds.
09
Security
We use administrative, technical and contractual measures intended to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe information has been exposed or misused, contact us promptly.
10
Access, correction and other rights
You may ask us to provide access to personal information we hold about you or to correct information that is inaccurate, out of date, incomplete, irrelevant or misleading. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to deletion, restriction, objection, data portability or withdrawal of consent.
Email corporate@turingultra.ai with the subject “Privacy request”. We may need to verify your identity and may decline or limit a request where the law permits or requires us to do so. If we cannot fulfil a request, we will explain the reason where required.
11
Privacy complaints
Email corporate@turingultra.ai with the subject “Privacy complaint” and describe the issue, relevant dates and the outcome you are seeking. We will assess the complaint, may request further information and will respond within a reasonable period.
If an Australian privacy complaint is not resolved, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. Visitors in other countries may also have the right to contact their local data-protection authority.
12
Children
This is a business-to-business website and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from a child through the site. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact us so we can assess and address the issue.
13
Changes and contact
We will update this policy when website functionality, information handling practices or legal requirements materially change. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
Privacy questions can be sent to corporate@turingultra.ai.
